Zoom Q3HD 1080P Portable Camcorder!

Zoom has just announced their new Zoom Q3HD 1080P portable camcorder capable of recording at 30 frames per second on 1080P and 60 frames per second on 720P.

Whoa, that is pretty amazing when you consider the fact that it comes with (beautiful lookin’) stereo microphones on top.

Of course, time will tell if Zoom’s new portable camcorder will live up to its name but for now, it seems like a Flip-beater to me.

Webcam Hack – How to Add Zoom to your WebCam!

For those of you looking for some additional zoom-in on your webcam, you might want to try simply adding some reading glasses. This is probably the cheapest way to get a zoom webcam if you have some old reading glasses around.

The focus was a problem for closeups, so I cut a pair of dollar-store +3 reading glasses in half and wrapped the earpiece around the back of the webcam. With a little encouragement it clips the lens over the flat part of the webcam’s orb where the lens peeks out. Perfect.

iPhone 3G Zoom Lens Telescope!

For additional 6X Zoom levels, you can benefit greatly from the iPhone 3G Zoom Lens Telescope.

Install the crystal case first enclosed with the telescope. Adjust the clear focus with the naked eye.

It can take a picture while fixing the telescope on back crystal case. (If the screen of your cellphone is analyzed degree enough, you can adjust the focus with the screen of the cellphone).

Interestingly, digital magnifying glass is a niche market no company has pioneered until a California-based Freedom Vision came up with theirs.

Pentax Optio W60 digital camera can work under 14 feet of water!

Well, looks like digital camera technology is getting better and better.  This Pentax camera can work up to 14 feet under water and up to 14 degrees Fahrenheit.  Price will be around $329.

The 10 megapixel shooter packs a 2.5-inch LCD, 5x optical zoom that doesn’t ever extend out from the main camera body, 720p movie mode, ISO 6400 sensitivity and face, smile, and blink detection.
