Best Desktop Receipt Scanner Review!

Couple months earlier, I had written the “best receipt scanner” review.  Well, that should have read “the best portable receipt scanner”.

I actually recommended the portable version to one of my friends who’s running his own business but he bought the “desktop” version.

Glad to say, I check it out and basically, this desktop receipt scanner had practically replaced my friend’s bookkeeper.(LITERALLY!)

On top of being about to scan 10 receipts in

Web Design Hack – How To Make An Awesome CSS Web Calendar with iPhone-like Graphics!

As a web developer/hacker, I am always searching for the next new thing in CSS, of course, this particular web calendar really impressed me with not a whole lot of code.

I think you can easily apply this to make your web app shine more.  (Check out the demo)

I wanted it to be similar to the iPhone Calendar application (or, if you want, to the little calendar on the left bottom corner in iCal). And I also wanted to keep the code as little and sweet as possible (we don’t like maintenance, do we

BlackBerry Gemini 9300 Preview Review!

Wow, check out the new Blackberry Gemini 9300!  It doesn’t look whole lot different from my 8830 but the inside may be much faster, let’s look at the pre-specs here:

The screen will be larger than the BlackBerry 8900, and that will also include a higher resolution The CPU will also be beefed up. We’re not sure if this means it will include something more powerful than the Bold’s 624MHz processor or not, but we’d like to think so. The device is said to be silver (think BlackBerry 8830) The keyboard is a little more rounded than

Wii Hack – DIY Kurukuru Kart!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA6G2K6jwTA

Japanese modders have made their own Kurukuru kart, a recreational vehicle you can control directly with a hacked Wiimote.

Looks like a lot of fun if you have a lot of time to kill. 🙂

There isn’t a whole lot of information available on this besides the video captions, but it appears to be using the WiiFlash Flash API for Wiimote input and Gainer for motor control output. WiiFlash looks like a particularly interesting tool for Flash developers. You can run the WiiFlash server compone

Zedomax Network LLC Baby!

December 4th, 2008 marks the start of new Zedomax Network LLC.  I wanted to hold off until I was sure I had a foot in the door.  (btw, August 14th, 2006 was the very first day Zedomax was re-born as a blog)

Although I have made corporations various times at various different start-up companies I’ve worked for, this time around it feels even more exciting because I am making my own company, a dream that I had since 9 years old.

Well, let me no

Blackberry Bold coming Ocotober 27th Baby!

Blackberry Bold will be coming out soon on October 27th along with AT&T’s (crappy) 3G network.

The good news is that we will finally have a physical new Blackberry model out as I am a Blackberry-lover.

I do like my Blackberry over any other cellphones simply because the call “quality” is comparable to a landline while other great phones like iPhone don’t have that voice quality.

Of course, Blackberries are also gr
