iPhone Might Be Coming to Verizon and CDMA?

Finally!  There’s some rumors that the iPhone might be coming to Verizon, or CDMA networks that is.  As good as the iPhone is, AT&T has reached too far into consumers’ wallets, knowing their network sucks.

Anyways, this is good news as Verizon and Sprint have proved that their broadband connection is 2-5 times faster than their GSM competitors.  I will definitely get an iPhone if it’s available on a CDMA network, otherwise I will have to keep ranting about how

Verizon Blackberry Storm Schedule Leaked!

Remember we told you about the Verizon Blackberry Storm leak couple weeks ago?

Well, it looks like Verizon employees will be doing some online courses for the Storm so that means it should be available soon after their training is over on November 2nd, 2008.

Nice, huh?

iPhone 3G Lawsuits Popping Up Everywhere!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaN1Nz1Dyls

I keep banging this site about how badly iPhone or iPhone 3G is advertised.  Of course, most phones do the same thing and could be called “deceptive advertising” but in this case, it’s Apple for christ-sakes.

If they have to lie to consumers on their ads, there’s enough people to get mad enough to

Apple should be Sued for Deceptive iPhone 3G Advertising!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaN1Nz1Dyls

As much as I can appreciate the Safari mobile browser on the iPhone, I still hate the fact that Apple refuses to make “real” ads without trying to cover up the slowness of the iPhone.

Well, as I told you about how iPhone is the biggest marketing scam ever, it seems like people are slowly starting to realize what I&

Verizon Blackberry Storm Leakage…

Verizon Blackberry Storm Leakage...

Looks like Verizon will be offering Blackberry Storm real soon as they have sent out flyers to their reps (and above is that).

As expected, the 9530 Storm will feature that controversial “click” touchscreen with built-in tactile feedback, GSM connectivity for global use in addition to EV-DO, visual voicemail, a 3.2 megapixel camera with video, and a full HTML browser. Sadly, there’s no pricing information or specific release date, but we’ve got a feeling we’ll get those soon — stay

iPhone Modem App is here and I am not impressed!

iPhone modem application is here, which can turn your jailbroken iPhone into a broadband modem for your laptop or PC.

Why am I not impressed?

Well, this should be a standard feature on the iPhone.  Why should consumers have to go through the trouble of jailbreaking their phone?

Plus, AT&T’s broadband modem has proven to really suck in comparison to Sprint and Verizon.

Personally, I have a Blackberry 8830, which easily becomes a broadband modem using a USB connector.

In comparison to another PCMCIA broadband mo

FCC May Regulate Cellphone Early Termination Fees

Yes!  As a owner of 5 cellphones in the last 2 years, I think it’s time that consumers start fighting back against stupid contract termination fees which I paid about 3-4 times while trying to find the fastest cellular internet service.  (which ended up as Sprint.  AT&T (Cingular), T-mobile, Verizon, they all suck.

Cell phone companies routinely charge customers $175 or more for quitting their service early. Under a proposal to the Federal Communications Commission, the

Blackberry 9500 – Touchscreen Thunder!

Well, it looks like the Blackberry revolution will be here soon to compete against the iPhone. Of course, Verizon and Sprint networks are so much faster, that’s the only reason I’d use it over the iPhone.

The Boy Genius has a bunch of new details on the upcoming touchscreen Blackberry, including the interesting tidbit that it’ll be a lifetime exclusive on Verizon in the US and Vodafone in Europe. It’ll have a mere four physical keys and will run on 3G EV-DO Rev. C as well as GSM HSPA for international use. No word on when t

Blackberry 9000 rumored to come in cheaper and WITH 3G!

Okay, we did a quick post about the rumored Blackberry 9000 without 3G.  I guess now the rumor has changed so it will have 3G.  Duh, why would Blackberry sell something without high speed broadband?  We should have realized this beforehand.

It looks like The Boy Genius Report has scored some more information on the BlackBerry Niagara. Apparently it’s a 3G (EVDO) device after all, planned for Verizon in May 2009. It’s said to feature QWERTY, 480×360 LCD, aGPS, 3.2MP c

iPhone HACK – iPhone unlocked SIM

I know, the iPhone is getting really old lately since everyone I know has one now. BUT, we can still laugh at all the stupid hacks you can do to the iPhone. Check out how you can unlock the iPhone by cloning the SIM card. This might actually be useful for any cellphones that use a SIM card.

Senad, who has previously been heavily involved in the Digital Satellite scene and worked in many projects for Digiturk Cryptoworks, revealed to us that the hack is very real and can be accom
