Here’s a cool howto vid for ducati owners. This garage is putting out vids on how to do things like replace and lube your motorcycle chains. It’s cool for these mechanics to share their knowledge. – Link

Quiet Super-Sonic Transport

Here’s a cool Quiet Super-Sonic Transport being developed by Lockheed Martin. It is designed to fly at speed of Mach 1.6 to Mach 1.8 which would be a great thrill ride for anyone with no heart problems. (That means you can’t fly on it if you just broke up with your girlfriend or boyfriend…)

Developed under a $25-million contract from Supersonic Aerospace International (SAI), the 12-passenger (+3 crew) QSST would

Google GPS

Here’s a cool way to use Google earth as GPS. Too bad you can’t run it on a PDA unless someone finds a way…

Basically you run Google Earth and use some great donation-ware to link it in real time to a GPS. This means that your mapping software and maps worldwide are not only free, but you also get hi-res satellite views and in some cases 3D buildings (in downtown areas). Only a year or so ago this would have cost tens of thousands of dollars in proprietary GPS mapping gear; it would be difficult to share it once done; each map and

OnEarthTravel.com and our “other” blogs and social networking sites.

We have a new website called OnEarthTravel.com. It’s a website or a blog about travel. My girlfriend’s brother,Bodin, is running this site because he is so into travel.

It seems like we are making a new site every week. Our lives are getting busier and busier and I can’t remember last time hitting a golf ball anymore. Regardless, we will just have to keep diggin’ along.

Make sure to check out all our other sites when you are bored:

DIY – How to make your own balancing skateboard for exercising

If you go to health clubs, sometimes you will see these cool balancing boards and a lot of skateboarders use these to actually practice balancing and doing nollies. Well, I am really inclined to build this one myself, it really works out your lower body and increases your ability to balance yourself. This can also be very good for snowboarders during the off-season, to keep their balancing abilities to top shape. (OR just skateboard like me…)

Build an indoor board (balance board) that can be used for indoor sur

DIY – How to build a Ferro-cement Boat!

Remember our post on building your own boat? Now this one is serious and can go on the ocean.

Check out this cool DIY on building your own Ferro-cement boat. I probably wouldn’t try building my own boat since I don’t trust myself. (what if it sinks in the sea?)

But you can build one and send us pictures of your boat for some free gadgets!

DIY HACK – Homemade Balancing Skateboard!

Wow, check out this awesome homemade balancing skateboard. As a skateboarder myself, this is way too cool…

It’s very similar to a snowboard to ride, requiring no user input other than the movement of your body mass. Leaning forwards and backwards controls the velocity and moving your weight from heal to toe controls the turn radius. It’s easy and very intuitive to ride.

DIY HACK – HOW TO Make your own drill powered skateboard!

Here’s a great way to make a drill powered skateboard! Why didn’t I think of think when I used to skateboard all the time when I was skateboard commuting in college? You could probably find a better way to make this so you can stand up while the drill powers you through some nice asphalt. The example above seems very dangerous though, you could get your hand caught between the asphalt and the drill and…yuck…that wouldn’t be nice.
