Believe me, I’ve been there, done that, I’ve “tried” watching fireworks in San Francisco for the last 4-5 years I’ve been living year straight but hands-down, I had the best New Year’s eve experience last night.
The boat is really nice, called “San Francisco Spirit”. If that’s not welcoming enough for you there’s free photographs for your family, then a nice buffet dinner with beef, 3 levels of decks you can watch the fireworks, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, and the rest of downtown San Francisco. Well, these next couple days will be a ton of fun for folks reading Zedomax.com as I am actually at CTIA right here in San Francisco to cover the latest in mobile gadgets.
There’s a slew of new Android smartphones and tablets awaiting to be released in 2 hours when they open the CTIA exhibit floor to everyone and we should have review of all the new smartphones including the new Motorola Droid Pro, Citrus, and more.

This year, I’ve decided to take some footage of Black Friday at BestBuy and also to find out what all the fuss is all about. Anyways, there’s a line of about 3 blocks right now, perhaps around 200-300 people at 3:05AM.
I just got here and things seem pretty slow but a lot of new people are showing up so I predict that there would be around 2000 people when the store actually opens at 5AM.
Also note that there’s 12 lucky VIPs given out who are arriving in limos. So far, I’ve noticed 1 l

I am not a travel freak nor do I have tons of money to go everywhere but I can surely afford to take vacation around where I live, San Francisco. I do enjoy living here simply because it’s also a really good tourist spot. Anytime during the week, I can imagine that I am a tourist again and visit some of the most fun spots in San Francisco.

I personally think Segways can be useful in some highly populated areas such as downtown San Francisco/LA/New York, but these things are probably a waste of resources otherwise. If you cannot afford a real segway, there’s a much more eco-friendly option of building your own “Legway”, it doesn’t really work well on turns but heck, sure beats buying a segway for no reason.
