Wow, with Droid X out now (which is faster than the original Motorola Droid), it’s shocking to me that the Moto Droid can solve a 7x7x7 rubik’s cube, being used as the brain while Lego Mindstorm does the rest.
Yes, Droid still does.

Check out this nifty design of a “Rubik’s Cude” gadget charger that will turn your efforts of solving the puzzle into electricity to re-charge your gadgets. I don’t know how practical that would be but certainly reminds me of the Bloom Box. If the design could be further developed into more efficient transfer of energy from motion to electricity, this could be a potential production material.

Well, the other day I bought a $1 Rubik’s Cube at a local Chinese gift shop on Clement Street in San Francisco. Within minutes of playing with my new rubik’s cube, it broke into pieces.
It was probably the worst Rubik’s Cube ever, what a waste of a dollar.

Here’s a really cool “electric” rubiks cube that uses touch to change the cubes. I still like the physical, traditional one better but this one is great for those of you physically-challenged. (or simply lazy…ha) (via ohgizmo)
