For those of you who bought Sprint warranty and for some reason you need to unroot your HTC Evo 4G back to stock so Sprint won’t find out you rooted the phone (and doesn’t break warranty), here’s how to unroot your HTC Evo 4G:
For those of you who are trying to use root programs like free wifi Android tethering program (so you can get free wifi tethering from Sprint), you might want to get temp root access to your HTC Evo Shift 4G for the time being while permanent root is being worked on.
Z4root: download here and install as you would any other apk open the app and hit temporary root let it run till you are notified of its success you now have temporary root!! *Note you have to rMotorola Milestone, the European version of Motorola Droid intro-ed here in the U.S., has been hacked to access root. Once hacked, you can also do things like WiFi tethering and lots more.
On the side note, I will be hacking my Nexus One soon too so watch for that.
