Mailbox DIY – How to Make a Modern Mailbox!

Here’s another great DIY showing you how to make your own modern mailbox for about $125.  If you are a good painter, you could add a tint of your favorite color and some clear coat to make it lokk even better.

WestOn Letters’ (link below) website provides my numbers at a budget price -I choose “deep ribbon” with spacers.  Cost about $85 for all 3.  I sketch out my vision of simplicity to be translated by my crafty counterpart into real measurements.  Wood, deck stain, gravel brought the grand total up to about $125.

NES Hack – How To Make an SNES Alarm Clock!

Here’s a really cool NES Hack that involves installing an alarm clock inside the SNES.  Of course, you can even use the joystick to set the time, which gets double-whammy thumbs up.

Our story begins with the gutting of the SNES and the desoldering of the cartridge connector and reset switch from the mainboard. To my great surprise and greater fortune, the cartridge connector’s pins were precisely the same pitch as the through-holes for the display ribbon on the alarm clock, and on top

Home Improvement DIY – How to Make a Window Seat!

For those of you who have kids and you have low-hanging windows that serves no purpose, you can refer to this cool home improvement DIY on how to make window seats for your windows.

I found some canvas baskets to fit the cubbies and added a little ribbon to them.  (I looked pretty much everywhere to find the right size basket for a decent price!)  I bought two big sheets of foam at the craft store to make seat pads, and Jeff helped me cut them to fit.
