Everyone probably remembers that AOL sent every household in America at least 3 AOL CDs each back in the 90s and it’s no doubt one of the secrets AOL became so big. And indeed it’s ironic that AOL stopped growing once CD spam became outlawed.

Beer Glasses Re-Blown into Stylish Glasses! [RECYCLE]

Check out these awesome array of beer glasses that have been given new life by being re-blown into stylish glass cups.  Pack of 6 glasses are about $60, way over-priced for me to consider buying one but still, this is great idea that a company is recycling bottles into works of art, re-usable stylish glasses.

I just love the way they shaped the glasses, so perfect for beer!

VHS DIY – How to Turn Old VHS into Spiral Notebook!

I really love it when people make things like this out of stuff that would go into your recycling bin, a pencil holder made using old tin cans and grout!  Brilliant!  Keep up the great work and reduce our carbon footprint!

DIY HACK – Recycled Bridges and Walls

While we are on the subject of making some BIG projects using virtually recycle-able stuff, here’s a recycled bridge and wall you can build.

Yet this is exactly what architect Shigeru Ban has done, over the Gardon River in the South of France. This is an ingenious idea to show that you do not need concrete, steel and glass to build a structure.
