World’s Largest Photo at 26 Giga-pixels!

Perhaps this is the world’s largest photo weighing at 26 giga-pixels made from 1665 full 21.4 megapixel photos using a Canon 5D Mark II.  The 102GB of data was converted using a computer with 48 gigs of memory w/ 16 processors!

Of course, I can picture year 2020 when everyone has a 100 giga-pixel pocket digital camera.  When that time comes, we will be laughing our asses off at this.
