PC Case Hack – How to Make a District 9 PC Case!

I have to admit to enjoying the movie District 9, it’s one of my favorite movies in the last 12 months or so.  If you want to build a PC case that strikes resemblance with some of the District 9 gadgets, you can see some of the pics/photos provided over at MNPCTech.com.  I would have to say they did a fantastic job of making this PC case, I WANT ONE!

DIY Pyramid PC Case Mod!

If you are looking to mod your PC, a pyramid PC case mod such as this one not be a bad idea after all.  You might even be able to sell bunch of these as pyramid-scheme business too.

Here’s a great idea for a computer, all built with recycled cardboard to replace the plastic.  Of course, you can’t really replace every part in a computer with cardboard but doing as much as you can could possibly save a whole bunch of power every year.

Antec Skeleton “Open-Air” Case!

Sometimes it pays to really think out of the box and surprisingly, Antec, the company famous for making enclosures for custom PCs, have released their new “Open-Air” PC Case dubbed “Antec Skeleton”.

Thermaltake V1 CPU Cooler will not fit most PC Cases!

Maybe it was just a picture, but the above pic does make it seem like the Thermaltake V1 CPU Cooler is too big to fit in most PC cases.

As you can see, the CPU cooler actually fits well inside a PC case while the cooling metal fins are designed right next to your power supply and vent fans for maximum cooling.
