Symbian Belle Video – Nokia’s New Mobile OS! [MUST SEE]

Above is the video of Nokia’s latest mobile OS, Symbian Belle, which “finally” does a lot of things that other smartphones do already. The video is in French but we can see clearly from the video that Nokia has finally stepped up and did something about their losing shares of the mobile market.

Of course, this doesn’t mean Nokia is going to pick up raving fans like Android or iOS just yet but it does look very promising.

Nokia who? Sorry, there’s a company that makes cellphones called Nokia for those of you who don’t know.

Nokia E7!

I know Nokia has like a 0% market share here in the States but they still are king when you talk about market share numbers for the world. Well, they have introduced the Nokia E7 just now, for those of you interested, head over to our friends over at Boy Genius Report.   (Does it come with Android?  That’s my question, or at least put one in there?)

The E7 — which will be available in Q4 of 2010 — packs a 4-inch, polarized, AMOLED display that has a 640 x360 resolution. The device has a peta-band WCDMA radio, quad-band GSM radio, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and G

Nokia Hack – How to Unlock Nokia Cellphones!

For those of you trying to unlock Nokia phones, you are in luck as I just stumbled upon Harsh Ajmera’s blog post on how to do it plus you get a free unlocking calculator.

There’s no detailed instructions on the site but I believe it’s rather simple and you should be able to unlock your Nokia cellphone easily.

With this software, users can not only repair their phones but also remove SIM restrictions (network lock and country lock) on their Nokia, Samsung, Siemens, Maxon, NEC, Sony Ericsson, Panasonic, Vitel, AEG, and Alcatel phones. You need to have y

New Nokia N900 based on Linux!

Here’s some great news that the new Nokia N900 is based on Linux, similar to the new Palm Pre.

The new Nokia N900 comes with ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 1GB of application memory, 32GB of storage (expandable to 48GB with a MicroSD card), and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

That’s very similar to the Palm Pre, same processor but 4X more memory and 4X more storage.  Plus, I have to say having a Mozilla browser is a definite plus.  If it’s available anytime soon in the U.S., I will definitely be one of the first get this cool new phone.

FINALLY, Nokia gets on

Nokia N95 Hacked with Windows 95

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZngrzFzMVqQ

Someone hacked a Windows 95 into a Nokia N95.  Well, that’s kinda cool and pointless.  Enjoy!

PLEEZ, put another background song though for us males. :p

It seems with a recent version of dos box, you can load windows 3.1 or windows 95 on N95 or N85 devices. They’re both in polish, so they may be the same people posting in different places.

Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition Out!

Nokia N810 WiMAX rolls out, it’s a tablet PC/Oversized PDA/UMPC that is the very first WiMAX-enabled device you can buy today.  It looks like the industry has been keeping WiMAX on the down-low, meaning they were ALL making WiMAX devices probably at least a year before. (mostly for Asian countries who’ve had WiMAX for last 2 years now)

Now, everyone who ever knew complained WiMAX will suck can just shut up, thank you very much,   W

Nokia E71 Now available in the U.S.!

I am not a big fan of most Nokia cellphones due to the fact that their web browser compared horrible to others but in this case, the Nokia E71 might prove to be a lot better than its companions.

NEW YORK, July 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — An eager crowd greeted the official arrival of the highly anticipated Americas version (GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 850/1900) of the Nokia E71 at a private event in the Nokia Flagship Store in midtown Manhattan on the evening of Thursday, July 24th. Nokia Bluetooth Loopset adds “hands-free” to your Hearing Aid!

It looks like Nokia might be the first to offer bluetooth “hands-free” mode to those of you using hearing aids.

The Nokia Loopset simply plugs into your hearing aid to allow wireless bluetooth connection to your PDA or cellphone.

Its “Wireless Loopset” is a device designed to hang around the neck that basically turns a t-coil-equipped hearing aid into a Bluetooth headset. In addition to providing the wireless connection, the Loopset includes such features as vibrating alerts and single-button dialing, according to Gea

Nokia E71 Confirmed for Production!

Nokia E71 looks so much like Blackberry 8830 I’ve got here, perhaps slimmer. If the price is right, Nokia E71 might not be a bad choice.

The E71 is one of the thinnest phones we’ve ever seen exit the doors of the Finnish giant, at 10mm thick, but there’s still plenty of room for everything you’d expect out of an E series phone like WiFi, HSDPA, A-GPS and even a 3.2 megapixel camera and a front facing camera for video chat — the main place the E71 differs on specs from its new E66 sibling is the 2.36-inch QVGA screen,
