Rust DIY – How to Remove Rust by Making an Electrolytic Rust Removal System!

As an immigrant who couldn’t speak English when I first came to America at the age of 9, I would keep myself busy by building things like Thermite, which is basically mixture of rust and aluminum.  Thermite is a great detonator for various bombs like TNT and whatnot, also used as emergency flashing guns.

Anyways, enough about me making thermite as a 9 year old, that was just plain, great chemistry fun, glad I didn’t lose an arm or leg during the process.  This can be great for removing rust

DIY Wild Wild West Hummer Spotted in UK!

Usually, the term “Wild Wild West” refers to the western region of United States, most likely pointing at the old California gold-rush spots, but in this case, a UK resident has created a “Wild Wild West” Hummer that utilizes wooden wheel from the “Wild Wild West” horse carriages.

Of course, you’d probably don’t want to go over 40MPH on those wheels but it’s a fancy, bastardized retro

Origins of Fortune Cookie was America?

DIY – How to Make an Underwater Microphone (Hydrophone)!

The fish says, “nice work bud, now I can start vlogging about my life in the fish tank!”

Construct a inexpensive hydrophone out of things laying around your house.

I decided to put up this instructable because (to my surprise) no one has a hydrophone instructable up yet. I made mine using a mixture of other people’s hydrophone creations that I found through a google search and a bit of ingenuity.

Here’s the parts that I used but it should be fairly easy to adapt whatever similar items that you can find.

Foam Car built by a Lithuanian!

A Lithuanian builds a car from scratch using polyurethane foam.  It’s an amazing work of an art.  Perhaps he did it because foam weighs less than other meterials?

The car is probably not your daily driver but still, with the 30″ chrome wheels, you can at least look good in it.

Polyurethane, the wonder-polymer used in everything from appliances and textiles to electronics and footwear, is apparently the car building material-of-choice for this “sculptor” in Lithuania. You’d recognize his particular mixt
