Interview with Inventor of Linux, Linus Torvalds!

I’ve read books of 2 of the most unique creators of operating systems, that is Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, and Bill Gates, the creator of Microsoft Windows.

Of course, I did get the feeling that Bill Gates was a money-hungry, arrogant, geek-vampire from his book while I got the feel

Eee PC Hack – How to Make your Eee PC Boot in just 5 seconds!

Here’s a cool Eee PC Hack that uses a modified Fedora Linux to speed up the boot time of Eee PCs.  I think this shows how great linux operating systems are modification by uses.  I am sure you can do something similar with Windows, but not to the extent this hack does.

How did they do it? Arjan said it starts with the right attitude. “It’s not about booting faster, it’s about booting in 5 seconds.” Instead of saving a second here and there, set a time budget for the whole system, and make each step of the boot finish in

Online Shop Hack – How to Get 20% off pretty much Anything you buy Online!

You can easily get 20% off pretty much anything you buy if it’s part of Microsoft’s buyback program.

Here’s how you do it.  Goto Live.com and search for anything you want to buy.  Sometimes, you will have to enter the competitors product to get the discount.  (As you can see above, you get 20% off for HP laptops by searching for Dell Laptops)

I started my search at Live.com and searched for “cheap” along with some product name; I tried a few variations such as “che

I am a PC Microsoft Ad forgot the Blue Screen of Death!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWk8ouioXgE

Here’s Microsoft’s latest “I am a PC” ad and I think we could have replaced “I am a human” for “I am a PC” here.

Oh yeah, they did forget to mention that “I am a PC and my Vista sucks” and that the ad itself was made on a Mac.

Control Alt Delete Cups – Microsoft(suck) should sell them along with Vista and Mojave Experiment!

When did Ctrl+Alt+Del phenomenon start?  Well, it probably goes back to the days of DOS operating system but Windows made it practical and famous with its blue screens of death.

These Control Alt Delete Cups will let you free yourself from stress by drinking the keys, not punching or hitting them with your fists.  (I have to admit that on many occasions using Windows 95 and 2000, I did punch out couple of Control, Alt, and Delete keys.)

I created a new word today – Windows Morons…

Here’s some guy who’s holding “I’m a PC” I guess.

It’s a good thing I don’t like Microsoft’s Vista marketing nor Apple’s deceptive adveristing otherwise, I’d be either Apple-butt-kisser or Windows-whore.

I have actually decided that neither Microsoft and Apple is my kind of company, my next computer will definitely have Ubuntu for sure.

I am sorry to say to all you Windows-lovers and Apple-lovers but the truth has to be told and big companies are really just taking you for a

Advertising FAIL or the new Miserable Failure – Microsoft Ads are Booooring and Vista still Sucks…

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBWPf1BWtkw

Okay, we did get a glimpse of what the $30 Million deal with Jerry Seinfeld will do for Microsoft.

Here’s an obvious answer:

No matter how much you spend and no matter what kind of comedian you hire to whitewash the consumers, Vista is still the same and it simply sucks.

On top of that,

Bill Gates and Seinfeld TV Commercial!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afR5J7eskno

Remember Microsoft hired Seinfeld to do advertising for their new $300 Million campaign?

Here’s the new Bill Gates and Seinfeld TV commercial which I did get to see yesterday for the first time and looks like bunch of people uploaded it to Youtube.

First look tells me that this ad really sucks in comparison to Apple.  There’s not enough “juice” going on to even understand what they are advertising.

DIY Homebrewed Wii App – Wii Physics!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YANSPDO3oU

This homebrewed Wii App called Wii Physics is similar to Microsoft’s Physics Illustrator and will let you test out your ideas before applying them in real life.

Wii Physics is a clever little homebrew app. You use the Wiimote to rotate, size and place objects on a stage. Pulleys, ropes, gears and joints can be used to connect objects together, and when you press the play button, a 2D physics system is turned on, causing the objects to fall and interact with each other.
