Wireless Water Meters in Effect in New York City!

Here’s an interesting news that New York City will be implementing wireless water meters coupled with internet monitoring capability, which will allow New York citizens to know “exactly” how much water they are using and only pay for how much they’ve used.  I have to agree traditional water meters have not been too accurate plus manpower required to check those meters on a monthly basis have been too costly.  We hop

Speaker Design – Sound Shelf!

Check out this cool design for a speaker called Sound Shelf, basically a shelf with surround speakers built-in to the lining.  I could see this design take off if it reaches the market, do you?  It’d be great if they sold it as iPod dock speakers/shelves.

The iPod craze has definitely made a large market for iPod accessories, which happens to include speakers.  This would be great for teens and college students to have a spot f

Sprint’s Dan Hesse says Google Android not good enough “yet”!

In recent interview with Sprint’s CEO Dan Hesse, he says that Google Android isn’t good enough “yet” for Sprint to promote on their network.

I can understand why Dan is saying that because Sprint is way ahead of every other telecommunication company in the U.S. as far as mobile data speeds go.

Plus, Sprint has been working closely with Samsung, one of the biggest cellphone manufacturers in the

With the gas prices these days, it makes sense that you do your part to help cut down on energy costs.

What if you took every single calorie generated by people working out in New York City and put it to use like this?

You’d pro

Pistol Cams may Offer the “truth” behind every Gun Shot!

Pistol Cam, a gun-attachable camera that records audio and video during a gun shot, may help document and provide a solid evidence for every gun shooting by the police.

Whether the cop has shot a person unnecessarily or not, the Pistol Cam may be effective in reducing wrongly-convicted police crimes or people who get shot by accident by cops.

Currently it’s only being used in the high-crime U.S. metropolitan cities like LA and New York but if proven effective, it could be widespread

Did I hear/see the Alley House???

Holy crap, check out this house. It’s 5 story house with each story about 8 feet wide. I would feel claustrophobic living in this house. Neverthless, it’s a beautiful, creative design great for metropolitan cities like San Francisco or New York.

Four wooden floors between two existing walls, hanging in a steel skeleton, organize this house: downstairs for work, dining on 1st, relaxing on 2nd, sleeping on 3rd, and on the roof, go and enjoy the view.

The border to the outside is only glass. Transparency not only a necessity, bu
