Samsung Omnia II Hands-On Review!

Samsung Omnia II has been caught in the wild, the new Samsung smartphone features a Windows Mobile 6.1, 3.7″ 800×480 pixel LCD, and support for HDSPA/GPS/WiFi.

The core feature of the new Samsung Omnia II isn’t its laggy Windows Mobile operating system but the on-board 5 megapixel camera and DVD-quality camcorder that also does DivX and xViD.

For storage, the Samsung Omnia II does great with its 8 gigabyte internal storage plus ability to add more with a microSD slot.

Sony Ericsson Rachael Android Phone Leaked!

My favorite cellphone has never been and probably will never be a Sony Ericsson, simply due to the fact that I have never seen a good Sony cellphone yet in my lifetime.  But Sony is however working on a Android phone that might change all that, the Sony Ericsson “Rachael”.

The XPERIA-based Sony Ericsson device codenamed “Rachael” will feature a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, HSDPA and an 8 megapixel camera, and from what we can tell from the images a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung PIXON M8800 – iPhone Killer?


The new Samsung PIXON M8800 comes with an 8 Megapixel camera capable of taking photos with 3264×2448 pixel resolution.  As far as digital camera ability, this Samsung phone is better than most digital cameras at taking pictures.

The M8800 Pixon will feature autofocus and a flash obviously, but also face/smile/blink detection, panoramic shooting, image stabalisation and shake reduction software, all of which are to be found on ‘proper’ point-and-shoot cameras.

While us US consumers are still paying big bucks for outdated technology from various telecommunications carriers, people over in Asia and Japan are enjoying the water-proof TV Phone…  Expect TV phones in the US in about 3 years.  The current TV phones in the US don’t count, they are based on broadband connection not radio.
