Well, it’s been about 7 months since I bought a Canon 7D, my first DSLR camera.  Today I learned something new, there’s this thing called “Rule of Thirds” where you divide your subject into 9 equal rectangles.  Now, try fitting your objects into these imaginary lines to take better photos.

Glass DIY – How to Make Stained Glass Objects!

Stained glass objects and artwork may complement your home better than anything else, especially if you can make them yourself.  Here’s a great instructable on how to do just that.  My only suggestion is to not go overboard and fill your whole house with stained glass objects, especially if you have kids running around. 😛

Photography DIY – How to Make a Fish Eye Lense for Nikon DSLR!

Wow, here’s a really innovative way to convert your Nikon DSLR into a fish-eye camera that can take some really awesome lookin’ photos.

I got the inspiration to do this Instructable while reading another Instructable that accomplished the same “fish-eye” effect using a PVC reduction pipe and an entry door viewer.

There was concern in the prior Instructable about around scratching the lens so I wanted to solve that problem in my easy to build fish eye lens as well as make a version which is easy to use, remove, etc.
