HP’s Face Tracking Software Fails with Black People!

Uh oh, HP’s new face tracking software fails to recognize black people.  Of course, this is probably due to some kind of programming error, we hope it’s fixed soon.  In the meanwhile, I will enjoy my flawless face recognition on my ASUS UL30Vt laptop.

The guy in the video says HP computers are racist and he bought one for Christmas.  LMAO, that sucks for him, at least the guy has a sense of humor.  HP, please fix it soon!

Sound DIY – How to Build a Personal Sound Studio with Foam!

I remember my DJ friend talking to me about making his own personal sound studio with recycled memory foam.  Well, here’s a perfect example of that I found that shows you how to make a personal sound studio with extra HP product packaging foam.

I think this is a great idea actually, save earth, save money, and build yourself a nice mini personal studio.

The DIY Portable Mini Vocal Booth is ideal for podcasters, DIY filmakers and sound designers alike. My personal motivation to build this, was a des

Inkjet DIY – How to Make a Self-Filling Inkjet System for Your Inkjet Printer!

One thing I don’t like about inkjet printer companies such as HP (although I love their products) is that ink itself can be more costly than the printer itself.  No matter what, HP isn’t going to make a self-filling inkjet system as it’s going to take a big bite out of their ink sales.

Don’t worry though, there’s a step-by-step guide you can follow to accomplish this so you never have to buy new ink ever!

It beats me why CIS systems are so expensive, the ozi exchange doesn’t help but even so

Laptop DIY – How to Clean Your Laptop CPU Fans!

The #1 cause for laptop failures are the CPU fan grills filling up with dust and making your fans no longer operable.  Once you start hearing extra “fan sounds” in your laptop, it probably means your CPU fans are stuck with dust and it’s time to clean them.  If you don’t, your CPU will overheat and the laptop will ultimately give you the blue screen of death now and then.

But it’s not too hard to clean your laptop CPU fans, the hard part is just getting to it depending on the brand.

HP laptops in general have horrible fan-grill designs, I have p

I have been covering a lot of netbooks over at our Laptop Blog, LaptopPimp.com so here’s a re-cap of what went around the laptop world last week or so:

Amazon Netbook Review Roundup!

Here’s a round of of best netbooks you can get from Amazon today from our Laptop Blog:

Eee PC 1000H is probably the top-of-the-line netbook to get right now as it offers a 10″ screen,160GB hard drive, Windows XP, and Atom 1.6Ghz processor.  I like the fact that Eee PCs have been leading the netbook industry and you won’t be disappointed carrying this 3.1 pound beast in your bag. The battery life is estimated at 7 hours but I think as long as you get about 4-5 hours on this, that’s good enough.

There’s other models of Eee PCs,
