DIY Skatebrake Kit for High Speed Downhill Skateboarding!

Check out these cool Skatebrakes that will add brakes to your skateboard.  Of course, this isn’t really practical for freestyling on the streets but it will definitely help if you live in area like San Francisco where steep hills will make it impossible for you to ride continuously.

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2vRkXoTWqc

Check out this video of non-circular gears that work harmoniously without breaking each other off.  What I am most interested is how well these non-circular gears will do when high-speed and weather-change are applied.

Let’s say you install these non-circular gears into a car that will run through over-100-degrees desert weather, will it manage?

We will wait for all your uber-mechanical engineers to answer this one.

HACK – How to Open Electric Doors with Giant Magnets!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwLv5HloyhI

Apparently, some electric and electromagnetic doors can be opened easily with these giagantic magnets.

The ‘ring of the devil’ is capable of attacking this kind of electronic motor lock on two ways.

Scenario 1: An electronic motor is nothing more then a metal part on an axe that turns because of a changing magnetic field. Turning electro magnets on and off will generate a pulling force on the metal part, making it rotate. The ring does the same thing. By turning the ring, t

The answer is already clear. Their current 3G speeds are so slow that you can’t even really watch Youtube videos on it. With the new “hyped’ 3G speeds, AT&T is only fooling consumers, who in turn will also fool themselves to believing this is something new.

Do you want to be lied to twice?  I don’t think so, just remember when Apple had those TV ads when the iPhone streamed live Youtube…

Okay, we did a quick post about the rumored Blackberry 9000 without 3G.  I guess now the rumor has changed so it will have 3G.  Duh, why would Blackberry sell something without high speed broadband?  We should have realized this beforehand.

It looks like The Boy Genius Report has scored some more information on the BlackBerry Niagara. Apparently it’s a 3G (EVDO) device after all, planned for Verizon in May 2009. It’s said to feature QWERTY, 480×360 LCD, aGPS, 3.2MP c
