GoogleDocs Hack – How to Bring Stock Feeds to GoogleDocs Spreadsheets!

It’s been months since I dumped Microsoft Outlook for GoogleDocs and I have to say, it’s rather nice to have all your important data online, retrievable by any computer with internet access rather than having to carry or send/receive any data.

Getting back to the point of this story is the fact that you can actually feed GoogleDocs spreadsheets stock market data simply using a syntax of code shown here:

Retrieving Current Stock Information

=GoogleFinance("symbol", "attribute")

Pulling Historical Stock Data

=GoogleFin

Keeping tabs on Google (GOOG) founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin got a lot easier when they bought an old Qantas 767 for about $15 million and converted it into their private party plane.

Hobbyists tag their photos with info like airplane make and model, registration number, date, location, etc., and upload them to sites like Airliners.net, which has 18 photos tagged with the Google jet’s registration number, shot in places ranging from New Zealand (Dec. 27, 2006) to Philly. Google has a new favicon, a smaller “g” instead of the big “G”!

Today, I’ve noticed that Google (GOOG) now has a smaller favicon, a “g” instead of the big “G”. It seems like they have replaced the first letter with the 4 th letter.

GooglePages for DIY simple websites

Holy cow, remember our predictions that the code 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0 will grow at an exponential rate? It’s doubling almost every day!
