After you root your G2 Phone, the next best thing you can do is to install ROM Manager so you can backup/restore/install new ROMs.
Here’s how to do it:
After having my new G2 Phone for months, I didn’t feel a need to root it because the phone itself already provides for free wifi/USB tethering from the get-go, the main reason why I usually root Android smartphones, so I can get some free wifi tethering I already paid for (without paying the carriers TWICE).
