Check out this DIY Oscilloscope using Atmel Atmega32.

I wanted to see if I could make a useful scope using just a microcontroller and a television. The result works, but is a bit slow with a maximum sampling rate of 15,750 Hz. This is fast enough for most electrophysiology, but not for audio. The sampling rate is determined by the maximum rate of the internal A/D converter.

DIY HACK – “Propeller Clock” Mechanically Scanned LED Clock

We’ve had a big share of broken laptops due to Beer and Vodka spills not too long ago. Here’s some tips about replacing your LCD on your broken LCD.

It helps to know your computer. If you don’t, do your research first. Some laptops have the LCD glued (epoxied) into the frame. In these cases it’s usually much easier to replace the whole cover. Most don’t have this problem though.
