Blog DIY – How to Make a Lightbox Newsletter Sign Up Form and Increase your Feedburner RSS!

If you want to incorporate the similar lightbox newsletter sign-up form as on this blog, I highly recommend you to check out my new ThickBox Sign-up Plugin for WordPress.   I did spend a good amount of time trying to make it into a WordPress plugin so you will have to pay for it but believe me, this works really well and probably worth well beyond the introductary price of $25.

After researching many different lightbox and thickbox methods, I could not find a good plugin, so I made this Thickbox E-mail Sign-up Form.

Gmail Hack – How to Store and Play MP3 Files on Gmail!

Here’s a no-brainer hack I posted on my Zedomax.Net blog that explains how GMail can be used for MP3 file storage and player:

(Of course, we might start seeing some software hackers take advantage over this and actually stream live MP3 Files to their iPhone/iPod Touch, great idea!)

Even better, you could open a separate GMail account just for your MP3s….wow what would happen if Google actually built this further to “sync” wit

Bed Blog Search Engine Launched!

Bedzine Blog Search Engine has been launched today and I had to work (or play, hack, whatever) for the last 24 hours w/o sleep.

The main reason I am spending so much on this new blog search engine idea is the fact that it can help readers find what they “want”, not simply the latest blog posts on the home page.

Of course, our web stats been hitting the roof last couple days too, mainly due to people “searching” after landing on a blog post they are not interested in.

I will prob

Peek Email Device Dissected!

Remember the Peek E-mail device that’s going to replace your Blackberry?  Well, here’s a reader who decided to see what’s “inside”.

Looks really well made – I was impressed by the aluminum backbone that supports the keyboard and the screen. The insides are very simple – just a few highly integrated chips. I haven’t hooked up the micro USB cable yet… I’m sure someone will beat me to it!

Sprint HTC Touch Diamond Available!

The Sprint HTC Touch Diamond is available now at the Sprint stores.  I haven’t really been a fan of HTC PDAs ever since my HTC 8125 crapped out on me couple years ago.  (I don’t recommend it now either, I think HTC is still relatively new company who hasn’t really made any “stable” phones yet.  Yes, don’t be fooled by their marketing, I think all HTCs really suck.  Not being bitter, just an honest consume

For the best in mobile e-mail, you might want to check out Peek, which is an email-only device that will cost you just $99 and a small monthly fee for network connections.

SiteHoppin Private Beta Toolbar v.1.3 Out!

SiteHoppin Private Beta Toolbar v.1.3 is now out, which integrates online tagging/hopping together.

What does it do?

Basically, it allows you to “hop” your favorite bookmarks using tags.  (I cut down about 20 minutes of time in browsing tech blogs I go to.  You could probably save a lot of time using this function if you visit 10-20 same sites daily)

We still got a l

How to “not” to respond to a blog review!

Hi folks, I did a review on how easy it is to start a 125 pixel exchange network. Of course, it was an “honest” opinion as every review on Zedomax.com is.

But this morning, I woke up to find out this e-mail from the owner of Nuacco.net from S. Masterov portachi@gmail.com: (Normally I don’t disclose the parties but in this case, I felt more righteous to disclose it.)

hi,

here are some stats from your nuacco.net account:
