Live Blogging – Zedomax Booth at Maker Faire

Hey we are live at the Maker Faire, blogging live! See our automated camera that follows people? Well, it’s a $160 Logitech camera we got in a hurry at Best Buy last night just before the store closed. Glad we got it working although the internet here sucks sometimes. Anyway, our booth is really popular! 🙂

Garrett is doing a great job with the crowd while I am hiding in the back. (Why am I hiding? Blogging of course!)

Making a steam turbine r/c machine has sort of been one of my Holy Grails, but there are many issues with steam turbines, that made it difficult for me to tackle on the project.

As an update to the previous HSDPA vs. EDVO article, here’s a horrible video of speed test between a Cingular Samsung Blackjack vs. Sprint MotoQ. (I was at a party and one of my friends had a Cingular Blackjack, so I had to take a video.)

Anyway, the test shows “zedomax.com” loading up. Sprint MotoQ loads much much faster.  (Now I can comment back on the go 5 times faster!)

We just got our

Chinese 2008 Olympic Swim Center

Check out some pictures of the new swimming center for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. It looks like a giant watercube, which is what it’s supposed to look like.

“Our ‘Watercube’ concept is a simple and concise square form that ultimately uses the water bubble theory to create the structure and building cladding, and which makes the design so unique. It appears random and playful like a
