Best Desktop Receipt Scanner Review!

Couple months earlier, I had written the “best receipt scanner” review.  Well, that should have read “the best portable receipt scanner”.

I actually recommended the portable version to one of my friends who’s running his own business but he bought the “desktop” version.

Glad to say, I check it out and basically, this desktop receipt scanner had practically replaced my friend’s bookkeeper.(LITERALLY!)

On top of being about to scan 10 receipts in

Circuit Board Business Card Holder!

I actually own one of these circuit board business card holders as one of my friend gave it to me on my birthday, it’s a great way to get people’s attention when giving out your business cards.

This saavy little business card case with its techno-appeal will make you the envy of all your peer vice presidents and CEOs. Add insult to injury by showing off this case to people in your organization that don’t even have business cards! Ouch. Holds 10-15 cards (depending on your business card thickness) – yet is small enough to comfortably fit in any pocket or ca

Best Receipt Scanner Review!

Last month, I pointed out how valuable and time-saving it is to digitize all your receipts, especially if you run your own business like me.  Without a doubt, digitizing all my receipts for last year’s taxes has allowed me to fit ALL of my invoices, receipts, and other documents onto my 1GB flash drive I got for free at the Web 2.0 from eBay.

The true secret to keeping your documents digitized is having them scanned on a regular basis and keeping good accounting, tho

Eco DIY – How to Turn your Wine Corks into Placecard Holders!

Here’s an awesome idea for re-using your old wine corks into placecard holders.  I can even see this being used for something else such as your business cards.

If you like, you can hot glue a magnet strip to the bottom of the cork placecard holder. If your table happens to be metal, this will keep it in place and weighted down. If not, you can slip an adhesive magnet under your table cloth to make sure it stays in place.

Female Humanoid Robot from Sega that can “kiss”!

I don’t get the point of getting kissed my a robot but here’s a female humanoid robot that can do that. Maybe they should add “tongues” for version two for some French kisses.

Sega Toys is gearing up to roll out a new humanoid robot in Japan, E.M.A., on September 26th. E.M.A. stands for “Eternal, Maiden, Actualization” and EMA is a female, not the first female rbot. She stands 38 cm tall and boasts of a “glamorous body” and high level of interactivity. The robot can hand out business cards, it can si

LinkedIn vs. Facebook, which one do you use more?

I was browsin’ over at ReadWriteWeb today and they had an interesting article on LinkedIn versus Facebook, of which one is better for business.

Well, in my opinion, it’d definitely be LinkIn as I haven’t seen anyone have their Facebook account on their business card but I have seen numerous LinkIn profiles.

To be honest, I use neither right now as they are simply more services to keep track of.  (Well I should at least be linked in…)
