My grandmother has the dreaded Alzheimer’s Disease, she doesn’t even remember me anymore.

But the good news if that scientists have figured out that coffee is good for your brain. In fact, drinking 5 cups of coffee protects you from Alzheimer’s Disease.

Well, I drink about 4 cups a day, I guess I will have to get a bit more jittery.

They’ve found that adding caffeinated water to rodents’ diet results in big improvements. The mice perform better on short-term memory and thinking tests. But only if they get enough caffeine.

Thought To Speech Machine! [BRAIN]

Scientists have been working on a brain translation machine that would possibly allow thought-to-speech possible.  Of course, this means that in the future, we can possibly keep the brain alive even if the human body is dead, sorta like science fiction.

DIY Robot Duck Kit!

Middlesex University’s DIY Robot Duck Kit might be perfect for anyone who has baby or kids.  Either you can make this robot duck for your kids or let them do it if they are old enough but clearly, these DIY robot duck kits might be better for your kid’s brain than another barbie doll or a toy car.

Why didn’t they have these when I was a kid?  I would get them and also add speaker/circuit module that will “quack, quack…”

Metal DIY – How to Remove Rust!

Removing rust can be a big headache but not if you use your brain a little and some electricity.

I used a 12V .5A power supply and attached the negative end to the pipe wrench and the positive end to a old piece of steel remesh. Both pipe wrench and remesh were put in a bucket of water that had some baking soda. After a few hours of bubbling I removed the pipe wrench and let it sit for a hour in a vinegar bath.

Words of Wisdom will teach you Everyday!

One of my best friend’s bathroom has a big poster with lots of “words of wisdom” from famous people featuring lines like, “If you can’t help yourself, no one can help you.”

Check out the Robocut, a lawnmower robot with Basic Stamp as controller.  You can even buy the kit so you can build one yourself.

Now, if you can get one of these DIY kits and make it solar, that’d be something to watch.
