Here’s a rather interesting hack where the user buys a new Android smartphone Droid and sees that he can no longer “dock” his Android phone on his iPhone/iPod speakers. Recently, Verizon has literally kissed Microsoft’s Bing on its butt by forcing its Storm 2 Blackberries to use Bing only on their browser search boxes.
Well, I guess Microsoft is trying to do everything to get a share of the browser/search market since IE has fallen off world browser dominance.
Verizon has unilaterally updated user Storm 2 BlackBerries and other smartphones so that their browser search boxes can only be used with Microsoft Bing.

Here’s a rather interesting story where a skier got wedged between two rocks. The blackberry in his pocket made his body just wide enough to fall 700 feet and saved his life.
At first I thought the Blackberry saved the skier by letting him call 911 but I guess there’s more uses with Blackberries than just calling the emergency department.
