Bed DIY – How to Make a Pipe Bed!

Need a new bed?  Tired of either an old bed frame that’s barely standing or you have the mattress on the floor?  Well, there’s a hack for that, make a pipe bed.  We’ve featured a slew of pipe bed DIYs before but this design looks pretty decent, made using aluminum pipes.  Btw, don’t use galvanized pipes from Home Depot, they are greasy and you will get pipe grease all over your bed sheets, something you don’t want and not good for your health.

Bed DIY – How to Make a Custom Sofa Bed!

For those of you tired of buying cheap furniture from IKEA (that breaks within a year), you might want to consider making your own custom sofa bed using some wood and custom upholstery.  I can see many ways you can customize your home once you learn how to make a custom sofa bed.  This is a brilliant idea indeed.

DIY Carpet Light for Awesome Ground Lighting!

Here’s a great design for carpet lighting using one of those string lights and carpet material.

Here’s a rather interesting idea that involves lighting and carpets, a DIY spiral carpet light!  I think there’s many uses to this concept if applied to carpets in real houses.  For example, you can hook it up to a motion sensor so the carpet near your front door will light up whenever you walk in/out of the house.  Brilliant!
