DIY HACK – HOWTO disable Lexus and Prius navigation lockout!

Cool, here’s my friend Jason from Hackszine posting about how to disable Lexus and Prius navigation systems. I don’t own a Lexus or a Prius, just a gas-guzzlin’ Chevy, but this might come in handy when I do get one.

Protective Bubble for your car!

Wow, this protective bubble will change the way you park forever!

Maybe they can make it bigger and we can even host a party inside the bubble.

The capsule itself is made of super-tough, 10 mil PVC that’s not only anti-static and flame retardant, but is also impervious to oil, gas and antifreeze. Once you lay the base out on the floor, you simply park your vehicle on top and then zip

Visualeyes launches Rayzer – another set of Headlights that go on the rear-view mirror.

Check out this nifty light for your car. No exterior modifications needed on car!

In contrast to conventional auxiliary lights, Rayzer is posit

ZAP cars – electric cars of the future?

Check out some of these wacky ZAP cars that run on battery. Really cool lookin’

Xebra Xero’s do not attempt to behave like other vehicles. They are unique. They are quiet, yet agile. Imagine a world filled with silent Xebra Xero’s instead of noisy internal combustion engines. The ZAP Xebra Xero is the offspring of more than three decades of thought and evolution. This vehicle was created as a breed by itself. Because the use and purpose of electric vehicles are different than gas cars, the wheel did indeed need to be reinvented. N

Wii DIY HACK – Using your Wiimote to measure your car’s acceleration!

Although this is an awesome Wii hack using GlovePie and the Wiimote, you could probably do this a lot easier using a simple 3-axis accelerometer and a microcontroller.

I got this idea after seeing some physics class use the wiimote in some kinda pendulum experiment.

Why not use the wiimote’s built in 3-axis accelerometers t
