AT&T Atrix 4G Speed Test!

Wondering how fast AT&T’s new 4G network is?

Well, I’ve got proof here to show you how fast it is.  Download speeds average around 2-3Mbps, not bad but the bad part is that your upload speeds never go above 400kbps in my testings.

Also, AT&T is very spotty for both 3G and 4G.  Sometimes, I get crawling speeds of 300-500kbps download even with full bars and sometimes I get 2-3Mbps.

That is actually problem with all the 4G networks but Sprint’s WiMax 4G and Verizon’s LTE are better in my experience.

Palm Pre Plus Coming to AT&T!

Well, there you have it, after couple days of Nexus One being available for AT&T, Palm’s Pre Plus is also coming to AT&T.

I have an avid advocate of Palm Pre ever since I got one last year.  I have to say that the WiFi tethering on the Pre is just freakin’ awesome as I get great EDVO signals

AT&T Problems Pointed Out by New York Times!

The other day I told you some solid reasons why you should boycott AT&T like me since 2006, well I just found some facts to prove my point including writer on New York Times saying AT&T is simply SLOW:

I LOVE my iPhone. I just wish it were matched with Verizon Wireless, the carrier with the most envied reputation as fast, ubiquitous, reliable, nigh perfect.

AT&T Having More iPhone Coverage/Bandwidth Problems! [AT&T Boycott]

The number one reason why I still haven’t got an iPhone is because of AT&T, I knew earlier on that they bought Cingular’s existing, crappy cellular network and as a former Cingular-customer, I know they have one of the slowest networks based on real testing. (This was like 6 months right before Cingular turned into AT&T)

Anyways, AT&T is STILL trying to find ways to cap iPhone users’ data (that they’ve PAID for) and still trying to PROMISE people that they are spending billions of dollars on network expansion.

FINALLY! – Skype/VOIP Apps allowed on AT&T iPhones!

This comes sorta bit late but heck, great news for AT&T iPhone users who have been wanting to make free VOIP calls.  Of course, AT&T’s lack of coverage in SF Bay Area means for bay residents still won’t benefit from it but for those of you with better AT&T coverage elsewhere, you will have something more to play with.
