New Samsung HD Camcorder SMX-C14!

Samsung releases their new HD camcorder SMX-C14 and SMX-C10, both HD camcorders come with 16GB of internal memory plus SD card slots for expansion.   I’ve seen a big array of great HD cameras lately, but I don’t think none of them are as great as far as price and function are concerned.  These HD cams are only available in South Korea right now, I might have to fly over there to pick one up next week.

The SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 also incorporate Samsung’s play-edit-sharing program called intelli studio. The built-in intelli-studio program allows consumers to connect

PHP DIY – How to Add Caching to ANY website!

In my recent ventures, I have resorted to finding great PHP code to cache my website.

Even if you are not using WordPress, you can still make a simple PHP caching mechanism without the use of WordPress Super Cache.  (Well, all WordPress Super Cache is a PHP cache with user-friendly menus.)

Here’s how to add caching to your website:

Copy and paste the following code and save as “cache.php” in your website root directory:

<?php // Settings $cachedir = ‘cache/’; // Directory to cache files in (keep outside web root) $cachetime = 600

Italian Police Lamborghini!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhpRcmRvIp4

If you ever decide to be a cop, make sure to apply for an Italian citizen, then work for the police station that lets you drive one of these Lamborghinis. (I heard they had Lamborghini police cars in Arizona too but this one is better)

I imagine they need this for catching those heroin/drug exporters in Italy.  (Well, they could’ve probably got 100 regular police cars instead though…)

Somehow the Lamborghini techs have managed to integrate all the gear that modern police officer

Check out the new Sub Zero refrigerator which is capable of self-filtering and self-cleaning.

It features a NASA designed filtration system that replenishes the air every 20 minutes while eliminating bacteria, odors, and microscopic contaminants. That means food will stay fresher for a longer period of time (and your fridge won’t smell like an open sewer). The Built-In Fridge series is slated for a fall release in an array of styles, but no pricing details have been announced.

Japanese Researchers Fit 42GB on a Single DVD!

It looks like Japanese researchers have figured out how to fit 42GB of information onto a single DVD by changing the way light is reflected off the DVD and thus storing array of bytes instead of 1 single bit.

Not sure how this will affect DVDs in the future but this might be the start of DVD2 era.

Researchers from the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials, based in Japan’s Tohoku University, have – according to Google’s translation of a document released by the university department – discovered a way to mult

Recycled Plastic Bottle Art – Sea Creatures!

With more and more designers and artists using recycled materials for their new art, here’s a cool array of sea creatures made with recycled plastic bottles.

The mere fact that plastic water bottles have transparent quality lends itself as the primary basis of our crafty plastic adventure. With that in our minds and fuelled with inspiration and fervor, both of us began the lengthy and labourous activity of sorting, cleaning, slicing, threading,…….etc.

Yes, now it’s virtually possible to build a whole array of household furniture by simply recycling and compressing your good ol’ newspaper.

Comcast 10 Million Pixel HDTV!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO6ty5RfnrA

Wow, this thing IS pretty amazing, when can I buy one for $2000?

One thing for sure, Comcast has money to burn…

The media wall covers an area of over 2100 square feet and uses four-millimeter LED lights, packed together as one giant, seamless array. It plays all manner of video, and even cool segments where three-dimensional-looking dancers seem to hover in thin air at five times the resolution of HD television.
