How Apple Can Enable Flash on iPhones/iPads without Pissing off the World!

Recently, Apple has completely banned flash from its line of products including iPhones/iPads, in an effort to block out their competitors, specifically Adobe.   Of course, they are now under close examinations of feds whether they are playing the game fairly or NOT.

One thing Apple is not doing right is that they are not giving the users a “choice” rather dictating users’ lives whether they should be using flash or not.  A simple solution to all this would be providing

Adobe Says “No” to Apple and Turns Focus on Google’s Android!

Apple has recently blocked Adobe’s Flash CS5 from its apps store.  Adobe Flash CS5 basically turns flash apps into iPhone apps much easily than using iPhone’s C++ SDK.   If Apple had decided to do this before many app developers have even begun to use Flash CS5 it would be understandable but their message is clear, Apple doesn’t like Adobe.

This being the case, Adobe has recently announced that they will no longer be supporting Flash CS5 for iPhone app development.

I think this is a good move on Adobe’s part as Apple has been going around the world, c

Top 10 Things Apple Can Do to Make iPad Useful!

iPad is coming tomorrow and here’s top 10 things Apple can do to make iPad actually worth buying for consumers like me who expect more from every dollar I spend:

Multi-tasking – We live in a world where multi-tasking is essential to get things done.   For example, I want to be able to stream internet radio while I play games.  If iPad seriously wants some “serious” attention from consumers, this is the one thing that’s going to seriously turn consumers away.   My Nexus One phone can stream internet radio, receive Twitter updates, and browse internet all

Steve Jobs Talking to Eric Schmidt in Palo Alto!

Well, here’s some good news, Steve Jobs of Apple and Eric Schmidt of Google has been spotted talking together in Palo Alto.  I am guessing they are probably talking about Apple’s recent lawsuit to HTC.  With all that has gone wrong, I believe these two people can work it out like real people instead of hiding behind lawyers.

I can’t really see any benefits if this Apple-HTC lawsuit keeps going, it’s a lose-lose situation really for

HTC Responds to Apple! The War Has Begun!

Well, the big news today is that HTC responds to Apple with a Boomshakalaka.

HTC’s official statement:

HTC disagrees with Apple’s actions and will fully defend itself. HTC strongly advocates intellectual property protection and will continue to respect other innovators and their technologies as we have always done, but we will continue to embrace competition through our own innovation as a healthy way for consumers to get the best mobile experience possible,” said Peter Chou, chief executive officer, HTC Corporation. “From day one, HTC has focused

Why Apple is Scared of Google and What They are Really Afraid of.

Yesterday I mentioned why Apple shouldn’t be suing HTC for the main reasons that they did not invent the multi-touch surface nor multi-touch gestures.

Today, let me get into the details of exactly why Apple is scared of Google and what they are really afraid of.

First of all, Google Android operating system is based on Java running on top of linux. Java has not been too popular as desktop platform but it has been making a lot of progress for embedded a

Apple iPad – 2010 Crapware of the Year Award!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFNQE_TzQNI&feature=player_embedded

Among many things that should be supported on the new Apple iPad, there’s some important key features missing such as lack of Flash support and Multi-tasking.

Are you kidding me?  Why would I want to buy a touchscreen netbook that can’t browse YouTube or even switch between reading my e-mail, browsing web and other programs?

I hope Apple does some serious thinking in re-designing their iPad, perhaps start with a name change first.

Apple Refuses to Return a Stolen iPhone! [Um…]

Um… Apple… please return the iPhone to its right owner and stop being a dick about it:

I got robbed on the subway in Brooklyn about 2 weeks ago, my iPhone (and some other crap)was taken. I called the police who were very helpful , they searched the area for a little bit, follow protocol and all that fun stuff.

Anyways, fast forward to yesterday when I get a email from Apple that someone had filed a request for a replacement phone due to a software malfunction from Apple CareService. I suspected that since I made an appointment with an Apple genius before, the Seria

Apple – Steve Jobs Takes $1 Salary! (Again)

Steve Jobs takes another dollar (or bite) from his company Apple this year as his yearlong 2009 salary.  Of course, don’t forget his company stocks are worth about $1.1 billion.

Also note this year Steve Jobs takes only $4000 in company expenses compared to last year’s $871K last year.

Apart from Steve Jobs being plain evil making iPods proprietary music format (instead of MP3) and that iPhones are “still” on AT&T’s network (
