FUNNY VIDEO – FedEx Infomercial on YouTube!

My friend Joel alerted on the latest “spoof” informercial from FedEx.  It’s quite funny, my favorite part is when one of the audience’s head blows off, (2:13) then he’s head is normal again. (2:14) LMAO.

According to Joel:

FedEx decided to make this YouTube video instead of SuperBowl advertising. They had tried unsuccessfully in the past to make a viral video campaign on YouTube; this time they enlisted Fred Willard (Best in Show, A Mighty Wind) to use his dead-pan humor for a faux-infomercial for FedEx.com. FedEx hopes to draw attention to their

iPhone Killer IS HERE!!! – Palm Pre WAAAAAAY better than iPhone!

Well, after 2 years of 24/7 use on my Sprint Blackberry 8830, my Blackberry kept flickering and resetting, causing me to get a new phone.

Well, it turns out that Sprint had the Palm Pre out for over a month now and I was sorta skeptical on how well the Palm Pre would perform.

I actually wanted to wait for the new Blackberry and they HAD the new Blackberry Tour, but I couldn’t let go of the fact that Palm Pre was linux-based and also can be hacked as a Wifi router.

Of course, I didn&#

Call Center Hack – How to Get Service From Phone Company Call Centers!

Hahaha, here’s an interesting blog post I started to write and forgot about it for couple weeks: (It’s a wonder what a difference a week makes you feel about things.  Just take it slow.)

LMAO Oscar Saved My Ass From AT&T Call Centers!

The most interesting thing came about today, I called AT&T THREE TIMES and navigated through their menus to reach call center in India once, then another woman over in the States, then to Oscar solved my problems of not being able to recover my registration info for the new router.

Seriously, I called AT&T 3 TIMES

Body DIY – How to Make Natural Deodorant!

diy-deodorant

With the world moving full-speed towards more organic and natural products, you MUST learn to make your own natural deodorant, just in case you end up in a country where they sell no deodorants.  FYI, I used to grow up in South Korea, they never had deodorants as far as I can remember.  I think they have some now but still most of the population does not even know why anyone would even put some stick on their armpits.  Don’t worry, when I came to the States 20+ years ago, I thought everyone was crazy.

Auto DIY – How to Rotate Your Tires!

I started rotating my own tires when I was 17 years old with a crappy jack.  Of course, not knowing a thing about cars in my younger teen years, I probably used the wrong jack points.  Watch the video below to learn how to rotate your tires and also “where” to jack up your car so you don’t unknowingly mess up your car.

Rotating tires isn’t that hard, if you are actually paying money to someone to do this for you, you might reconsider doing it yourself in the future as the recession economy will reward you for that.

My #1 advice?

Get a proper

BED DIY – How to Make a Bedside Shelf!

diy-bedside-shelf

Here’s a great BED DIY illustrating methods of how to make a bedside shelf instead of sticking a wobbly bedside table.  I think this is a great space-saving idea.  Plus, if you have dogs/cats/babies, it will keep them out of reach.

Better Homes and Gardens has an easy step-by-step guide to build and install your very own bedside shelf. You will need:

Brackets (with keyhole anchors bored into the back faces)

Board (1-inch-x-12-inch-x-3-foot)

Drill

Level

Tape measure

Screws

Electronic stud finder (optional)

NEWS – How Should South Korea Inspect Suspicious North Korean Ships?

The recent news, if you have been keeping up to date, is that North Korea has all of the world’s eyes glued to their actions with nuclear weapons.  I personally think it’s ridiculous that the world is giving North Korea so much attention when there’s so much more important things to solve in the world such as inhuman Iranian government.

Here’s an excerpt from the Philipino news I picked up just now:

South Korea’s coast guard said

Twitter Hack – DIY Home Automation with Twitter!

twitter-hack

Here’s a great example of someone who used Twitter to control his home appliances.  Of course, this is completely do-able with some meticulous planning.  I do see more and more automation DIYs using Twitter as communication platform for their projects, very useful indeed for our cluttered world.  You will have to add some security measures to protect against hackers though.

The one thing lacking in most of these devices was 2-way communication between Twitter and the device. In all of th
