Google Chrome Hack – How to Fix Your Chrome if Chrome Keeps Closing!

Today, my Windows 7 OS decided to de-clutter some files by itself and it did. But after I re-booted my laptop, Google Chrome kept shutting down on me everytime I turned it on.

At first, I thought it was some kind of spyware or virus on my laptop but Firefox was working fine. Then I googled and found that Windows 7 probably corrupted the Chrome user profile files while it was doing its thang.

Here’s how to fix it, really easy, according to Google:

1. Exit Google Chrome completely. 2. Go to the Start menu > Run. 3. Enter one of the following directories

Necklace DIY – How to Make a Firefox Necklace!

For those of you with some craft skills and want to impress your girlfriend, how about making your lover this DIY Firefox Necklace.  Best of all, this necklace looks rather cool and no one will accuse your girlfriend of using the actual Firefox browser all the time.

I used rubber cement to affix the template to a piece of 18ga. silver sheet, and used a small saw to cut out the shape on top of a jewelry maker’s bench pin, which is that fork-shaped wooden surface you see in the video. Finish it up with files and a lot of sanding using a flex shaft and slotted mandrel. Th

Google Instant Search!

Google has launched their “instant search” and believe me, I think this is great!   Although I use the Chrome browser URL bar or my Android browser’s, this allows me to search without ever hitting the Enter key after the first time I search something.

Anyways, this could be Google’s most innovative improvements ever.  The concept isn’t the po

Search Engine Wars – Google Down, Yahoo Up, Bing the Same.

With the recent ComScore search engine numbers, Google is a bit down , Yahoo is a bit up, and Bing is pretty much the same.

But I still haven’t seen anyone tell someone else to “Yahoo” or “Bing” something, have you? Maybe you can Google that for me, thanks.

Google ended July with a 65.8% piece of the search pie (down from 66.2% in June), Yahoo! increased from 16.7% in June to 17.1% in July, and Bing stayed constant month-over-month at 11.0%. AOL shed a tenth of a percentage point from June to end up with a 2.3% share.

WordPress Hack – How to Make Dynamic Magazine Style Theme Using WordPress 3.0 Featured Images!

You know WordPress 3.0 was introduced couple weeks back and I was so excited that Matt and their team have done a beautiful job of implementing “Featured Images”, which allow you to make a “dynamic magazine” style theme, while not hindering performance of your WordPress.

Before WordPress 3.0 was out, I had been using my own custom code, which uses ImageMagick to re-size images so I can fit them into my custom magazine-style theme.

But you know, it looked awful, I never liked it nor was it optimized.  My blog

Google Voice Now OPEN for EVERYONE, no more Invites Needed!

GoogleVoice, is a great voice-mail/phone-rerouting service I have been using for months to get all of my calls on three smartphones to one number (Google number) plus it “transcribes” all of my voicemails so I never check my voicemail anymore.

Anyways, Google has just officially announced that Google Voice is going public as of just now.

This certainly is good news, now no one ever need to pick up their phone bu
