Google Instant Search!

Google has launched their “instant search” and believe me, I think this is great!   Although I use the Chrome browser URL bar or my Android browser’s, this allows me to search without ever hitting the Enter key after the first time I search something.

Anyways, this could be Google’s most innovative improvements ever.  The concept isn’t the po

DIY Google Earth 3D Simulator by Google!

video://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atV2foTBbyE&feature=player_embedded#!

Wanna go on a ride of your life? Perhaps explore the earth using Google Earth?

Google has been working on a Google Earth 3D simulator as shown in above video, pretty cool huh?

We had a chance to get a live demo of the system from its creator, software engineer Jason Holt, who used an off-the-shelf controller device to virtually fly us around the world (and under the sea!). Check out the video below (be cautious if you’re prone to motion sickness) and let us know what you think: Would y

Google Pods!

Google’s secret to keeping their employees happy?  Not outrageously higher-than-normal salaries, baby care/pet care center but their secret “pods” which allow Googlers to relax and enjoy some time off work.

Well who wouldn’t? Google reportedly provides game rooms and gourmet meals so why not a customized nap pod? The nap pod you see above reportedly has its own alarm and provisions to hook up an MP3 player. It even has a privacy hood and the chair is ergonomic for comfort. Now wouldn’t you want to work for Google with all those pampering stuff for their

Google Voice Now OPEN for EVERYONE, no more Invites Needed!

GoogleVoice, is a great voice-mail/phone-rerouting service I have been using for months to get all of my calls on three smartphones to one number (Google number) plus it “transcribes” all of my voicemails so I never check my voicemail anymore.

Anyways, Google has just officially announced that Google Voice is going public as of just now.

This certainly is good news, now no one ever need to pick up their phone but just keep refreshin’ that

Future of Cable and Satellite TV Will Be Google TV and YouTube!

YouTube is probably the most underestimated video service in the world today.  Even now, YouTube is in its hatching stages, I think it’s going to be another 5 to 10 years before we see even maturing of the giant video company that Google paid billions for couple years back.

Today’s subject is, “what is the future of cable and satellite TV”?

The future, will have no more cable and satellite TV.   I believe that with the introduction of Google TV and maturing of YouTube, people will no longer need to subscribe to any cable/satellite service.  Of course

Steve Jobs Talking to Eric Schmidt in Palo Alto!

Well, here’s some good news, Steve Jobs of Apple and Eric Schmidt of Google has been spotted talking together in Palo Alto.  I am guessing they are probably talking about Apple’s recent lawsuit to HTC.  With all that has gone wrong, I believe these two people can work it out like real people instead of hiding behind lawyers.

I can’t really see any benefits if this Apple-HTC lawsuit keeps going, it’s a lose-lose situation really for

PDF Hack – How to Open Every PDF File with GoogleDocs!

Recently, I’ve stopped using Adobe reader simply because it’s slow and for GoogleDocs does a great job of letting you view PDF files much quicker than Adobe reader.

So, how do you open every PDF file you find online with GoogleDocs?

So long as the PDF file exists online, you can simply use GoogleDocs viewer and paste in the URL of the PDF you want to view.

Another great way to do this automatically is to get the

Google Refuses Chinese Censorship! [GO GOOGLE]

Well, it’s been a great day since I just received my new Google Nexus One phone, the first “official” phone that Google has started selling as of last week. Btw, this phone is freakin’ JESUS-AWESOME, I will have a bunch of videos on that soon.

The point of this blog post is the Google’s latest move on Chinese government’s censorship. Instead of obliging to Chinese government to keep Google going in China, Google has determined that they will no longer cooperate to

2011 Audi A8 is First Car Equipped Google Earth and Maps!

With Google’s new GoogleMaps Navigation threatening to take over the whole map industry, here’s the first bite from Google, a 2011 Audi A8 that will be equipped with Google Maps and Google Earth!

As for me, I will be happy that Google Maps is finally making their way into new cars as I find on-board GPS from other manufacturers either horrible, un-usable, or simply are out of style/date.

Why didn’t they do this earlier?

Definitely, year 2010 and 2011 will be the year of Google, especially when you consider the fact that Google is rolling out th
