Google Chrome Hack – How to Fix Your Chrome if Chrome Keeps Closing!

Today, my Windows 7 OS decided to de-clutter some files by itself and it did. But after I re-booted my laptop, Google Chrome kept shutting down on me everytime I turned it on.

At first, I thought it was some kind of spyware or virus on my laptop but Firefox was working fine. Then I googled and found that Windows 7 probably corrupted the Chrome user profile files while it was doing its thang.

Here’s how to fix it, really easy, according to Google:

1. Exit Google Chrome completely. 2. Go to the Start menu > Run. 3. Enter one of the following directories

Acer Chrome OS powered Device Coming at Computex 2010!

Computex 2010 is one of the biggest consumer electronics show held in Taipei, Taiwan.  (You can register here is you want to go.)  I want to go and the airfare is pretty cheap at about $1000 round-trip, non-stop from SFO to Taipei but I don’t know if it’s really worth it.

Anyways, at Computex this year, starting June 1st, Acer, the company that makes a bunch of great laptops and desktops (I am actually writing this blog post on a cheap Acer desktop.), is launching the world’s first Chrome OS device.

This will

I recently installed Google Chrome browser on my Ubuntu Linux.  Well, everytime I tried to access GMail, I’d get the following error:

Why I Switched to Google Chrome from Firefox!

Until couple weeks back, I have been using Google Chrome browser as my secondary browser for loading Google-based services. I didn’t really use it fully but decided to make the “full switch” by using Google Chrome for most of my online services. (which proved to be a good choice because now I can get my blogging work done much faster as Chrome is about 2-5 times faster than Firefox)

I still use Firefox but it’s become my secondary browser, I use it for stuff I have multiple logins.

Should you switch to Google Chrome?

I think you should, it&#

So, how do you open every PDF file you find online with GoogleDocs?

Mozilla Firefox Quickly Gaining the Browser Market and Doing Well in Recession!

Mozilla, the company behind my favorite web browser Firefox, is quickly gaining in the browser market (especially here in the U.S.) and reportedly, doing very well in recession:

Mozilla has published its audited financial statements from 2008, reporting $78.6 million in revenue for the fiscal year—a five percent increase from 2007. Aside from a weakened investment portfolio, the browser maker has not been hit hard by the economic recession.

I don’t think Mo
