PetBots – DIY Drawing Robots for Art!

At Maker Faire this year, there was a TON of stuff see, perhaps too much for my naked eye.  Anyways, one of the gadgets that caught my eye were these DIY drawing robots.   When you need to draw a lot of circles, these will surely help.

DIY Bowling Ball Balancing Robot is Just Plain AWESOME!

Take a look at this most amazing bowling ball balancing robot ever that uses it as its wheels. What I am impressed the most is about the possibilities of this amazing DIY bowling ball balancing robot can do such as help laborers move stuff. Indeed, this gets my award of the year for best balancing robot.

Pieter Abbeel, Assistant Professor of UC Berkely has created a robot that can fold towels. Of course, my wish is that the robot could fold my underwear, T-shirts, you get the idea. Android Hack – DIY Android Voice-Controlled Robot!

Japanese T-Shirt Company Allows DIY Custom Designs via Twitter!

Can you imagine if you could “tweet” and be able to make custom T-shirt designs?  Well, that seems highly unlikely but that’s exactly a Japanese T-shirt company is doing now.

You will have to use the custom T-shirt making language which allows you to make patterns and move them anywhere you’d like.

It’s probably going to annoy hell out of your fellow twitters but this seems like a radical idea for future machines, Twitter can become an efficient middle-man.
