Here’s a cool robot like the Robonova with lots of fast movement.

Futaba reportedly plans to sell its new Futuba Robot worldwide for just $1,200 each. The 10-inch tall humanoid robot uses 11 high torque servos and 9 lightweight servos for the upper body for SUPER-FAST MOVEMENT.

The United States has robots prepared to fight in the battlefield and is planning to create more complex machines in the future that think for themselves, according to a report on newscientist.com.

Among the robots soon to hit the battlefield are Sword, a machine-gun equipped robot and iRobot’s  shotgun-totting robot.

Cool…

Biped robot? Check. Slick blue paintjob? Check. Lasers? No go. High bar routine? Check. Even though the JR RB-2000 robot is not actually grasping at the bar, this video is still pretty impressive. Hit it at about 40 seconds to watch the Paul Hamm routine begin. Now if they can just make a figure skating robot, my life will be complete.
