For those of you who like tinkering, you might want to think about the next generation touchscreen interface.

And no, that’s not multi-touch but a DIY water-based touchscreen interface.

I think this can go very far, especially when you consider doing things submerged underwater, perhaps lead to the next generation of water-resistant multi-touch devices.

Here’s a great idea to collect free rain water if you don’t have a gutter on the edge of your roof.   The key component to this gutterless rain barrel is obviously the fact that you can basically collect “unlimited” amounts of rain water, just replace barrels when they are full.  Brilliant idea!

Solar DIY – How to Make a Solar Thermal Water Heater!

If you can either find or have an old fridge, you can easily use the back of the fridge to re-make a solar thermal water heater that can easily burn your hands.
