T-Mobile G2 Phone – Only 800Mhz Processor?

T-Mobile has just confirmed that T-Mobile’s new G2 Phone will be coming with an 800Mhz Scorpion processor.  Now, we don’t know how fast that process “really” is until we test it with other 1Ghz Snapdragon/TI processor equipped phones like the Evo 4G and Droid X but certainly it’s a bit disappointing that we still haven’t broke the 1Ghz barrier.

Of course, CPU speed isn’t everything so we will keep our eye on it and you never know, it could outperform other 1Ghz processors so we will keep you wondering.

Samsung Fascinate Spy Shots!

Samsung Fascinate has been spotted in the wild, seems like some Verizon stores (or Walmart probably) have them in stock.   Anyways, it doesn’t look all that different than a Samsung Vibrant.

My guess is that the only difference between the Samsung Fascinate and Vibrant is the network (CDMA/GSM) plus the fact that Verizon will probably load Skype Mobile on it.

Whatever the case, this is certainly another great phone to get on the Verizon Wireless.

Now, you have a choice between 4.3-inch Droid X, 4-inch Samsung Fascinate, 3.7-inch Droid 2 and Increidble.

LG’s Flexible E-Reader Newspaper Goes into Production (and in Color!)

Remember we told you about LG’s flexible newspaper that is like an Amazon Kindle that is flexible and also size of a real newspaper?  Well, LG is going into production with these futuristic e-readers and with color!

If this does come to the market (and I don’t doubt that it would), we should expect current e-readers to go obsolete in a few years.

Many e-readers use monochrome screens based on technology from E-Ink, but LG has been independently researching development of color e-paper, Jakhanwal said. LG in the past showed flexible color e-paper displays,

Samsung Fascinate Launch Date?

It seems like it won’t be too long before Samsung Fascinate will be launched in early September as our sources indicate that Verizon is already stocking the new Samsung Fascinate Android smartphones in their warehouses while MTV Awards (which will be held on September 12th) will be sponsored by Samsung Fascinate and Verizon Wireless.

This all means that we can expect a similar launch to the Droid 2, which was pretty low profile and for those of you who have been waiting eagerly for your new Samsung Fascinate, you might just get it in the next week or two.

T-Mobile G2 Spy Shots!

I have a pretty good gut feeling that T-Mobile’s G2 phone will set the standard for Android smartphones in year 2011.  Of course, next year you won’t be able to expect Nexus One from Google but T-Mobile’s Google G2 Phone will be where Google’s putting their money at.

These are the first spy shots of the T-Mobile G2 with a 3.7-inch screen and a QWERTY keyboard.  From what it looks, this could be the thinnest Android phone ever that has a QWERTY keyboard.

Man, I want one!

Samsung Epic 4G GPS? Works Fine.

Samsung has just issued a statement that the GPS on the Samsung Epic 4G works fine now.  Of course, the launch date is still weeks away and we are wondering why this is even news.  (well, it’s NOT!!!)

We have tested and validated both Network Assisted (indoor) and Autonomous (outdoor) GPS on the Epic 4G. With regards to Vibrant and Captivate, we are currently testing software updates which will optimize GPS performance. We expect to be able to make the updates available in September and will communicate more information and download instructions in the next few weeks.

T-Mobile G2 Phone Launching Soon with 4G!

Wow, it’s an endless cycle of new Android smartphones being intro-ed this year and probably all of next year.  While Google has stopped selling their Nexus One phones in retail, Google has been secretly been working with T-Mobile to product the next generation T-Mobile G2 Phone.

By the way, T-Mobile G1 phone was the very first-ever Google Android-based smartphone and to see Google/T-Mobile launching their second “G” branded phone means something big is going to happen we think.

We will have all the goodies on the new T-Mobile G1 phone when it launche
