I know one of my best friends dad is handicapped and uses a wheelchair.  Of course, he can drive but he must wait and wait for the automatic reclining machine every time he gets on and off his van.

Well, there’s a solution for that, the Kenguru, car for wheelchairs.   The downside is that it only fits one person but might be great way to get around town.

Navevo GPS catered to Disabled Citizens!

Navevo has released their new GPS capable of helping disabled citizens more than your iPhone GoogleMaps.  I guess the bad news is that this GPS is really custom-made for U.K. as of now and we probably won’t see them in the states.  (but I might be wrong, please feel free to correct me as always)

MIT DIY Robotic Wheelchair is Smart and Learns your Environment!

Check out this awesome prototype Robotic Wheelchair that the MIT researchers have been working on and it might just change the way physically-challenged people get around town.
