Pool Sprint – Underwater Running Device!

Here’s an interesting underwater running device you can use on a pool.  It seems like basically a running pad, now I wish they can take it further and add a motor like a regular treadmill.  Oh yeah, underwater pool treadmill, that’d be something I would want to invest in.

LED DIY – How to Make an LED Skirt!

Wanna grab more attention next time you head out to the clubs?  Wearing one of these LED skirts will surely do the job.  You can get your own DIY kit here and attach it to your favorite skirt.

The NorthSkirt is a wearable smart clothing/soft circuitry project. Using a hacked NorthPaw kit, my own home-made flexible PCBS and conductive thread, the skirt lights whichever row of LEDs is pointing north.

Helicopter Hack – How to Build a Hexacopter!

If you want the ultimate over-the-air surveillance gadget, you might want to build a hexacopter, like a helicopter but about 10 times more stable and can go straight up or down like a UFO.

I would really like to see a bigger, life-sized version of this and travel, seems like the 6-copters are ideal for doing some crazy maneuvers in air.

Van Gogh Hack – GIANT DIY Van Gogh Portrait Made with Polo Shirts!

Van Gogh is probably my favorite artist of all time, I even visited his home/work in France 10 years back.

Anyways, bunch of Japanese people decided they could make a GIANT Vang Gogh portrait with polo shirts.

The result?  It is a fascinating work of an art.

Playhouse DIY – How to Build a Log Cabin Playhouse!

If you got kids and you got a big yard, you might be interested on building them a custom log-cabin playhouse. Looks like you can save a bunch of money by building one for your kids. Besides money, it will be more memorable that you built it for your kids. (All your sweat/effort will be well worth it.)

I’ve always wanted such a playhouse when I was a kid, one day I will build myself one, except it will be all high-teched out, filled with gadgets and tablet devices.

Business Card Hack – Business Card USB Flash Drive!

Wanna make a good first-time impression at your dream engineering job?  Try this PCB business card that can be converted into a USB flash drive!

The main purpose of the card is to work as an USB memory.

PetBots – DIY Drawing Robots for Art!

At Maker Faire this year, there was a TON of stuff see, perhaps too much for my naked eye.  Anyways, one of the gadgets that caught my eye were these DIY drawing robots.   When you need to draw a lot of circles, these will surely help.
