Craigslist Hack – How to Turn an Old Cellphone into a Porsche!

Here’s an interesting story about a 15-year old teen who kept trading his old cellphone with dirtbikes on Craigslist, eventually turning his initial cellphone into a Porsche!

Ortiz got “an old cell phone” from a friend, as reported by Jalopnik.com, and decided to go on Craigslist to try to barter it for a better phone. He managed to get an iPod Touch. This was the beginning of the chain…

Seriously Modified Scion TC! [Daily Imports]

For the modified import car of the day, here’s the seriously modified Scion TC.

You can see from taking a quick peek at the engine compartment, the headers have been swapped for bigger ones, perhaps a bigger turbo over stock, and everything all just looking nice and pretty.

I can clearly tell actually that turbo is not stock as the oil line is an aftermarket oil line.

Eclipse DIY – How to Mod Your 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse!

One of my all-time favorite import car is the 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse, I used to own TWO of them and even put turbos in them myself (on non-turbo versions).  It was actually illegal for me to put that turbo in but I did anyway and there was no way cops could find out unless they knew something about imports.

Back then, imports weren’t so “hot” like these days, they were just getting started.   I remember when the movie Fast and Furious came out couple years later and they featured this very 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

How to Build a Super Bike Car! [Sidecar]

For those of you who wanted to build something fast and capable of holding three passengers, here’s a really cool way to mix a motorcycle and passenger seats, build a super bike car!

Then came the sidecar chassis, also all in aluminium. Hubs and brakes come from a VW Golf GTI, the wheels are from an Audi 80. The tension of the chain is automatically adjusted by an eccentric system installed on the swingarm axle. Shocks absorbers are Fournales air system, especially manufactured for this machine.
