The guys over at EvilMadScientists made something really cool today, a DIY pumpkin rover! Why didn’t I think of this before, a moving pumpkin, brilliant! – link
The platform itself was built from three Lego wheels and one standard size servo motor, modified for continuous rotation. Some cable ties and superglue were used to hold it together with a 3xAA battery box.
Here’s a really cool instructional video on how to build a WiFi cantenna. This can be a great way to extend the range of your USB WiFi dongle to receive your neighbor’s WiFi signals. Of course, you can probably use the same method for increasing range on your broadband card too.

Okay, I really admit it this time, the only flowers I can really maintain are those low-maintenance cactus, which I have one on my desk right now. (and it’s still ALIVE!)
For those of you who have hard time maintaining a “real” garden, you might want to try the alternatives (like me cactus) or learn how to make a steel flower. Make sure you put some anti-rust coating so your flower will be maintenance-free even if it rains.
