Shure E2C Earbuds Review!

I also ordered these Shure E2C earbuds, which feature high-energy drives.   At $69, I don’t see the value in these earbuds and there’s like zero bass out of these.  Even if you are not a bass-head, you can’t expect to get great sound out of these with zero bass.   I listened on these for an hour and it felt like listening to a cat screeching the windows, my ears hurt after that.

Take a look at this awesome device that a student invented, a wiimote-controlled wheelchair control system where you can use your head to control the wheelchair.  The best part is when the user’s head comes all the way down, it activated its emergency brake system.

Neat idea that could change how wheelchairs are built for the next decade.

Computex 2010 is one of the biggest consumer electronics show held in Taipei, Taiwan.  (You can register here is you want to go.)  I want to go and the airfare is pretty cheap at about $1000 round-trip, non-stop from SFO to Taipei but I don’t know if it’s really worth it.

Anyways, at Computex this year, starting June 1st, Acer, the company that makes a bunch of great laptops and desktops (I am actually writing this blog post on a cheap Acer desktop.), is launching the world’s first Chrome OS device.

HTC Evo Pre-Order Starting at BestBuy TODAY!

Yup, you can start heading to BestBuy as of today to pre-order your own HTC Evo 4G!

BestBuy is now officially taking pre-orders at their stores. (not online)  With BestBuy, The Shack, and Sprint Stores launching the new 4G WiMax HTC Evo 4G smartphone, this is certainly going to be exciting.  We wonder how sales of HTC Evo 4G will do and probably will do pretty well, perhaps better than Verizon’s Droid, with Sprint/ClearWire 4G WiMax clearly a selling point over all other U.S. carriers.

Here’s a fun hack you can try if you have a Droid or an Android phone with a keyboard, run DosBox and install Windows 3.1 or maybe run Quake off DOS.

What’s the point?  It’s a great way to re-live your past misadventures like I erased command.com the first day I bought my computer 386DX back in 1989.

Yesterday, I stumbled onto a cool hack where this guy has supposedly found a way to run Windows 3.1 on his Droid smartphone.  Upon closer investigation, I found out that you can inde
