Android Smartphones Outsell iPhone 4 Twice More!

According to recent news update on Fortune blog, Android smartphones are outselling iPhones by factor of twice or more per day.

That means that since the quater started for Apple 19 days ago, Apple has only sold around 70,000 iPhone 4s a day, less than half of the current Android activation rate.

HTC’s Droid Eris Return Rate – 35 Times Lower than iPhone 4!

In Apple’s press conference the other day, Steve Jobs compared the iPhone 4’s antenna reception problems to HTC’s Droid Eris, saying that antenna reception problems happen to some of other smartphones too and that iPhone 4’s return rate is only 0.55%.

Apparently, that return rate is actually 35 times higher than HTC’s Droid Eris, which is at 0.016%.

Perhaps Apple and Jobs should stick to making their products better instead of blaming it on the whole smartphone industry?
