Why limit yourself to a clock?  Hack it and make it tweet your GPS location via your Palm Pre.  hahaha.  Happ

For those of you who like to swim or simply like being in water, you might be happy to learn that there’s a waterproof USB flash drive with 8 gigabytes of memory and according to one review:

It is fast, cheap, and has lots of storage. I accidentally sent it through the washing machine and it still works just as good. It can be a little bulky to get into crowded USB areas, but other than that no complaints.

howto-ssh-palm-pre-2

Here’s a write-up I did over at my new Palm Pre Hacks blog on how to SSH into a Palm Pre.  Check it out if you got a Palm Pre and ahead of the curve. 🙂

The second day I got the Palm Pre, I was able to SSH into my own Palm Pre and also make it into a WiFi Router.  Of course, this is usual business for me as I manage about 30+ web servers on a daily basis.  If I see a linux machine, the first thing I want to do is SSH into it.

Over the last couple weeks, I have been doing a little “host” shopping, jumping from hosting company to another, thus Zedomax.com went down a lot. (Sorry about that, sometimes in life, you need to keep searching until you find the best deals.)

So, I’ve actually narrowed it down to 3 companies that provide the best “cloud/grid”, “VPS”, and dedicated servers.

This review is based on the 30+ blogs I manage, each of blogs getting anywhere from 100 to 20,000 pagesviews each.

In the end, I found that each hosting company had its stren

Here’s a hands-on review of the USB Mini Can Humidifier Ionizer from BudgetGadgets.com.  It’s a really cool little device as the Can Ionizer will purify the air around your office while providing a purified, ionized mist.  I really like it a lot since I smoke in my kitchen, this should help clean up the air quite a bit while I do gadget reviews and whatnot.  (Thanks Meka for the free sample!)
