Droid Hack – How to Run/Install Windows 3.1 On Android!

Here’s a fun hack you can try if you have a Droid or an Android phone with a keyboard, run DosBox and install Windows 3.1 or maybe run Quake off DOS.

How to De-solder SMD Chip with a Candle!

This probably isn’t the prettiest way to do it but if you run out of tools and simply gotta get the job done, you can indeed de-solder an SMD chip with a candle!

I pushed the QFP to the side with tweezers and it only took about 10 seconds for it to start moving and immediately removed the board from the fire and I could easily lift the prized IC. Interestingly, right after the procedure, the IC was only lukewarm to the touch.

Router Hack – How to Make a Super Router!
