Phillips Color Changing RGB Lamps!

Wow, check out these new color changing RGB Lamps! Although it’s not new tech, we give thumbs up for the design!

The lamp uses 4 LEDs, two red, one blue, and one green. By increasing, reducing, brightening or dimming each LED you get different colors!

The lamp uses a remote control so you can change LivingColors settings from anywhere in the room. What is smart on this remote is the fact that it remembers your last settings so you don’t need to reselect them.

PIC Microcontroller Touch Keypad

Need a touch Keypad instead of the traditional 4×4 keypads? This might be the way to go.

The actual data from the touch sensors is quite erratic and requires some software processing. Basically you create a pulse for each of the ports and read the data with the instruction following the pulse signlal rise. Overclocking the G0 SLACR Q6600 to 4GHz

Cool…here’s some for you late night computer junkies:

1.66 volts later and a whole lot of time we managed to break that magical 4GHz mark. I don’t consider myself a hardcore overclocker but for this little achievement a pat on the back was well deserved!

We almost hit 16,500 3DMarks which is almost 500 up on the 3.8GHz run
