Finally, I’ve got hands on the ASUS EeePad Transformer Android tablet, mainly because I wanted a device that would replace my old EeePC netbook plus the ability to use it as a tablet device when the keyboard is not needed. For business users, the Transformer makes perfect sense as it can completely replace your old netbook and also let you have a tablet device in hand.

How to Root Galaxy Tab 10.1 Retail!

For those of you who’ve picked up the retail version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 lately (which I highly recommend, you can read my full review of Galaxy Tab 10.1), you can easily root it by reverting back to Android 3.0.1, installing Clockwork Recovery, then reverting back to stock OTA Android 3.1 and install root.

HP TouchPad Now Available Everywhere!

HP TouchPad is now finally here everywhere!  I still remember getting my first Palm Pre, which runs the same WebOS that the TouchPad runs.  I still think WebOS is better than both Android and iOS as far as intuitive multi-touch plus apps can easily be erased from the RAM using the card system.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android Tablet Available for Pre-Order at BestBuy.com!

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Honeycomb Android 3.1 is available for pre-order from BestBuy.com as of this morning.  It’s sorta pricey at 16GB going for $499 and 32GB for $599 but if you need to get the best of the best, this is one of the better 10.1″ tablets you can get right now (although I prefer the Eee Pad Transformer with attachable keyboard).
